Bridlington
This eleven storey high rise building situated on the East coast within several hundred yards of the North sea being fully exposed to the elements has suffered the failure of previously fitted UPVC windows over the last fifteen years. On certain elevations, some windows had been replaced twice during this period, which led to the housing assosiation which owns the flats, choosing Swifts Osprey 2000 aluminium timber clad tilt and turn inward opening window.
This superbly designed window is able to withstand the ravages of the English climate, but offers a easily maintained and cleanable window from the inside of the building, designed to give many years of trouble free use. The aluminium exterior was powder coated to marine grade standards to withstand the elements and the engineered laminated timber to the inside gives insulating and comfort levels previously not experienced in this building. A product designed to give many years of trouble free use.
